Fort Defiance: Still Bloody but Unbowed

Fort Defiance in Red Hook stayed open deep into Hurricane Sandy – and was seriously battered. St. John Frizell, the owner, is beginning rebuild efforts, and Pizza Moto will park its mobile wood-fired oven truck out front on Van Brunt Street to serve pizza to locals and volunteers.
