Governor, the DUMBO restaurant that recently received 2 stars and was on its way to being one of the most talked about and important restaurants in Brooklyn and New York in general, has been completely destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.
Chef Brad McDonald appealed to the NYC Restaurant Industry for help, and as his restaurant lawyers we want to help too, by suggesting a public funding drive.
In response, the good people at AvroKO restaurants donated all of their profits from Public and Saxon+Parole this weekend to help Governor, and Chef Brad started a gofundme site that has seen contributions from Rene Repedezi and David Chang amongst others, raising over $24,000 of the $150,000 they need in the first three days alone.
